Anthony (Tony) Landfried

Anthony "Tony" Landfried, 55, of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in his residence.

He was born on July 14, 1952 in Springfield the son of Grant and Dorothy Rita (Gibson) Landfried. He served our country in the United States Navy. Tony worked for Cooper Power Tools for twenty-six years and enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years Colleen (Koster) Landfried, his father, Grant and wife Betty Landfried of Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Kirk Bailey and Christina and Dean Bogard all of Springfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Ric Symons of Springfield, two brothers and sisters-in-law: Grant "Fritz" and Susan Landfried of Kentucky, and Eric and Terry Landfried of Texas; six grandchildren: Tyler, Brayden, Kory, Kameron, Haley, and Lainey; one nephew, Brad, and two nieces, Nikki and Arika.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 2-4 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where a Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 4:00pm with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
