Florence Marie Hawk Ott Kisling


Florence Marie Hawk Ott Kisling passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Thursday, August 16, 2007 after a courageous battle with diabetes.

She was born October 26, 1933 in Springfield, OH to the late John Andrew Hawk and Frances Marie Hawk Rhodes. She was a member of the Faith in Christ Lutheran Church and retired from the Rite Aide Drug Company. Florence touched many individual lives with her gentle spirit and quick smile. Nothing made Florence happier than to be with family. Her devotion to family has left a lasting impression on us all.

She is preceded in death by; husbands, Ralph B. Ott, and Harold Kisling; grandson, Ralph Robert Lee Ott.

Florence is survived by; daughter, Patty Ott of Shaker Heights, OH; son, Ralph (Kathy) Ott; grandsons, Kevin Ott of Lancaster, OH; Matt Ott (Abby Conard) of Columbus, OH; great-grandson, Andrew Ott; brothers, Ted (Lynn) Hawk of Hopewell, VA, Don Hawk of Torrington, CT, Roger Hawk of Downington, P.A.; sisters, Mary(John) Beedy of Mechanicsburg, OH, Peggy Hawk Rutledge of Charlotte, NC and much loved nieces and nephews.

Family to receive friends from 2:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, August 19, 2007 in the JACKSON LYTLE & WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, 2425 N. Limestone. Funeral service will be held at 11:30am Monday August 20, 2007 with Joel Seymore officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Florence's memory to The Diabetes Association, PO Box 1106, Springfield, OH 45501 and Central Ohio Down Syndrome Association, 2879 Johnstown Rd, Columbus, OH 43219.
