Beulah F. King


Beulah F. King, 94, of Springfield, passed away at 11:25 AM Saturday, January 24, 2009, in Community Hospital. She was born February 7, 1914, in Kankakee, Illinois, the daughter of John and Alice (Davenport) Deatley.

Mrs. King attended the Baptist church and enjoyed dancing to Blue Grass music.

Survivors include three children; Ada (Gene) Markel, South Vienna, Donald (Leora) King, Okeechobee, Florida and Robert L. (Ruth ) King, Big Sandy, Tennessee, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul King, April 4, 1980, two sons; Leroy Quinlin and Edgar Quinlin, six sisters and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
