Thomas Webb Jones, Sr.


Thomas Webb Jones, Sr., 72, of Fairborn, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Sycamore Hospital.

He was born January 25, 1936 in Richmond, Kentucky, the son of Earmin and Ida Mae (Dunaway) Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of the Fairborn Pentecostal Church of God and was a retired electrician.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Alice (Smith) Jones, three children; Thomas W. (Barbara) Jones Jr., Fairborn, Donald (Donna) Jones, Dayton, Nancy Minges, Franklin, eight grand children, six great grand children, three sisters; Frances Tope, Fairborn, Betty Louise (Marvin) Bowman, Englewood, Ida Mae Sweeney, La Losa, New Mexico, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Fairborn Pentecostal Church of God with Pastors Rick Crews and Branden Jones officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of the services in the church. Burial will follow in Byron Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
