Ruth Irene Jessee, 68, of Springfield, passed away at 1:38 PM Monday, November 26, 2007 in Essex of Springfield.

She was born August 21, 1939 in South Charleston the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Gano) Allen.

Survivors include children; Anna (Ron) Coonrod, Roberta (John) Williams Jr., Roger (Ginger) Jessee, Harold Jr. Jessee, Paul Jessee, David (Ava) Yeazell, Cynthia Yeazell, Christopher Yeazell, 18 grand children, 11 great grand children, siblings; Clara (Charlie) Brown, Linda (Harmie) Amburgey, Betty Works, Bobby Allen, Jimmy (Barbara) Allen, Raymond (Thelma) Allen and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Jessee December 24, 2006.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 6 until 8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Noble officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
