Martha Jean Jenkins


Martha Jean Jenkins, 77, formerly of the Springfield - Urbana area, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born January 15, 1931 in Springfield, the daughter of Homer and Esther Dodds.

Survivors include three sons; Charlie (Heidi) Jenkins, St. Petersburg, Max Jenkins (Christen Rinehart) , London, Eric Jenkins, Springfield, three grand children; Tyler Chandler, Damond Jenkins and Callie Rose Jenkins, nieces; Linda, Lisa, Leah and Cheryl, nephew David Dodds, and special friends; Leila, Donna, Justin and Deema.

She was preceded in death by a brother Homer Dodds and her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
