Hazel Lucille Ford Jenkins


Hazel Lucille Ford Jenkins, 95, formerly of Springfield, died May 12, 2007 in Mesa, Arizona. Hazel was born in Miami County, Ohio on July 4, 1911, one of 14 children of William and Addie Ford.

She was a member of the First United Church of Christ.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Garland. She is survived by her children, Roger Jenkins of Mesa, Arizona, and LaDonna Courter of Fort Collins, Colorado; five grandchildren, Anthony Courter, Jeffrey Jenkins, Lynnette Babcock, LaDonna Korittky, and Madeline Benzing; eight great grandchildren, Zachary Courter, Kyle and Mariah Jenkins, Emily and Eric Babcock, Alison and Brandon Korittky, and Matthew Benzing; and a sister, Edith Gearhart.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Donations may be made to Hospice Family Care, 5037 E. Broadway, Mesa, AZ 85206 in lieu of flowers.
