Delores E. Johnson, 79, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. She was born on June 11, 1929, a daughter of Frank and Thora Potts.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Walter; and sister Helen Potts.

She is survived by her 3 sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Bob and Gayle Johnson; 1 grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Shawn and Jennifer Johnson; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kayden and Preston Johnson.

Delores worked for Bonded Oil in the Payroll department for 47 years. She loved to crochet and spend time with her family. She was a loving mother and wonderful grandmother who will be truly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Vale Cemetery. Arrangements in care of JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME- Springfield.
