Timothy L. Hobbs

Timothy L. "Tim" Hobbs, 48, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 7, 2008.

He was born August 4, 1959 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Harold and Norma (Austin) Hobbs.

He was a certified machinist and worked in that field for many years until a back injury left him physically unable to continue working. He will be remembered for his quick smile and laughter, silly jokes, ability to forgive, to be non-judgmental and his big and loving heart. He was content with what he had. It didn't take much to make him happy and even the smallest token of kindness was greatly appreciated.

Survivors include his parents of Springfield; son, Jason Humphrey; daughters, Danielle Hobbs; Krista and Jimmy (Compton) Hobbs and his soon to be first grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, John and Ava (Amig) Hobbs; sister, Julie (Hobbs) Creachbaum; nephew, Austin Creachbaum; former spouse, Trena (Humphrey) Hobbs and a very special friend Donna Hocfbaum all of Springfield; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday March 14, 2008 in LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Michael Criner, officiating.

Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Julie Creachbaum, 205 E. Madison Street, Springfield, Ohio 45503
