Stephen W. Huff
Stephen W. Huff, 49, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday evening, March 18, 2009 in the Ross Heart Hospital at The Ohio State University Medical Center following a courageous and lengthy battle with various illnesses.
He was born in Springfield on November 4, 1959 the son of Charles W. Huff and June Shaffer.
Steve worked as the campground host at Beaver Valley Campground as well working at Auto Zone. He began working at a young age when Boots Hohlmayer took Steve under his wing at his flower shop.
He is survived by his mother of Springfield; two sisters, Kathy Huff of Springfield and Kimberly Joseph of Cleveland; a brother, James Huff of Springfield; a half-brother, Scott Huff of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Brenden Joseph, Starr and Aubrey Huff, and Darrin Jenkins; dear friends, Kim and Pete Sadlier; his Beaver Valley family; and his beloved cat, Tina.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Karen Sue Huff Jenkins.
Steve's funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jim Britton officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
