Sheridan P. Hubbard


Sheridan P. Hubbard, 85, of Springfield died Monday, February 25, 2008 in Forest Glen following a lengthy illness.

He was born April 15, 1922 in Mount Sterling, Ohio the son of Raymond and Augusta (Henry) Hubbard.

Mr. Hubbard served in the United States Army in the Pacific Theatre during WWII and participated in the Phillipines Liberation. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in Dayton with 25 years service and was the owner of Hub's TV Repair for 24 years.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Anna (Conley) Hubbard; two daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Lloyd Daugherty of Mansfield, Texas, Carmen and Kenneth Powell of Urbana; two sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Sharon Hubbard of Springfield, Phil and Debbie Hubbard of Fairborn; one brother and sister-in-law Edgar and Donna Hubbard of Springfield; seven grandchildren Denise Barger, Veronica Garber, Byron Hubbard, Joseph Hubbard, Phil Hubbard, Jr., Jessica Parsons and Nicole Brodigan; eight great grandchildren Kyle Near, Jenna Daniels, Caleb Brodigan, Elijah and Emma Garber, Andrew and Noland Thacker, and Hannah Hubbard; seven step grandchildren Joe Minton, Nikki, Matthew, Ronnie and Tyler Williams, Chris and Rodney Daugherty; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Tommy Hubbard; four brothers Samuel, Gerald, Charles and Raymond Hubbard; five sisters Margaret White, Rose Royal, Marjorie Gardner, Catherine Thompson and Doris Hubbard.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Charlene Hubbard officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 10-11 AM. in the Memorial Home. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
