Sue E. Hallan


Sue E. Hallan, 62, of Springfield, died at 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center Fountain Campus. She was born October 13, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of Everett and Ellen (Sullivan) Anderson.

She retired as a data processor from Navistar in 2002 after 25 years of service. She was a 1963 graduate of Catholic Central High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Women's Eagles Auxiliary #397.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie and Marcie Hallan, both of Columbus; one brother and spouse, Steve & Sherry Anderson, Springfield; her best friend and cousin, Joyce Underwood; one nephew and spouse, Chris & Tina Anderson; one aunt, Ann Rogers and numerous cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Daniel Hallan.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
