Ronald Hill


Ronald Hill, 67, of Springfield, passed away February 25, 2009 in his residence. He was born April 17, 1941 in Springfield, a son of Buster Hill and Bessie (Jackson) Headen.

Mr. Hill retired from Clark County O.I.C. after 28 years of service and was a faithful member of Greater Grace Temple.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Derrick Hill and Kevin Strodes both of Springfield, Ohio and Carlton Webster of Boston, Massachusetts; five daughters, Yolanda Wilds of Vallejo, California, Cheryl Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marcia Hill-Jones of Springfield, Ohio, Carla Webster of Boston, Massachusetts and Dawn Oliver of Hampton, Virginia; a sister, Shirley Martin of Detroit, Michigan and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Elise Starling and Mary Fields and a brother, Al Cohill.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. in Greater Grace Temple. Funeral services will follow in the church at 7 p.m. Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery.
