Richard "Rick" D. Henry


Richard "Rick" D. Henry, 60, of Medway, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008.

He was born February 18, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late William & Mary Catherine (Auchey) Henry.

Rick was a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1965-1969. He was a member of the New Carlisle Sportsman Club, the Milton Athletic Club and the Moose Lodge #1533. He was a graduate and an employee of Sinclair Community College.

He is survived by his wife of Thirty-seven years, Susan; three sons, Patrick (Amy), Christopher (Tara) of New Carlisle, and Scott (Valerie) of Miami Twp.; grandchildren, Taylor, Jaclynn, Jonathon, and Brandon.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kristen.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, New Carlisle. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
