Roger Eugene Hayes


Roger Eugene Hayes, 59, of Springfield, passed away at 11:50 AM Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center.

He was born May 24, 1949, in Springfield, the son of John C. and Kathleen (Cydrus) Hayes Sr. Mr. Hayes was employed at Ferncliff Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter; Gennie Crotinger, Troy, five sisters; Judy (Rick) Howard, Joan Geiger, Kathy (Roger) Simonton, Rosie Hayes and Karen Martin all of Springfield, six brothers; David (Della) Hayes, John (Judy) Hayes, Chuck (Judy) Hayes, Bob (Shirley) Hayes all of Springfield, Mike (Sue) Hayes, Columbus, Danny (Paula) Hayes, Springfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; June Honicker and Betty Hayes, three brothers; Alan , Donnie and Gary Hayes and his parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Gennie Crotinger.

Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
