Patricia Ann Hopkins
Patricia Ann Hopkins, 70, of Centerville, passed away at 1:36 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Hospice of Dayton, She was born March 15, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Spurgeon) Reading.
Mrs. Hopkins enjoyed arts and crafts and had been employed at the F. F. Mueller Center.
Survivors include five children; Kathy Jo (Doug) Shale, Springboro, Paul Michael (Rhonda) Hopkins, Springfield, Merry Beth Hopkins and life partner Laura Elizabeth, Kettering, Scott Hopkins, Springfield and Paula Ann (Mark) Voegele, Reading, Ohio, six grandchildren; Ryan, Lukas, Audrey and Elijah Hopkins, Brooke and Logan Voegele ,two brothers; Lawrence Reading and Robert (Barbara) Reading, Springfield, one sister in law; Jo Reading, Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul E. Hopkins, May 5, 2003, two brothers; Norman and Donald Reading, two sisters; Ruth Carolyn Loy and Marcella Lambolly and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Patsy Davis officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
