Melanie S. Hennen
Melanie S. Hennen, 44, of Springfield, lost the battle; but won the victory as she went to be with the Lord Tuesday Feb., 5, 2008 at Community Hospital, Springfield, OH.
She was born July 10, 1963 in Zanesville, a daughter of Ronald and Joan (Kirby) Hennen.
She was a graduate of Northeastern High School and Rio Grande College. Until recently, Melanie was employed by Purity Foods in Xenia, OH. She was a member of New Moorefield United Methodist Church, Emmaus Community and was a United Methodist Lay speaker.
She is survived by her mother, Joan Hennen of Zanesville; three uncles, Gary Hennen of Alexandria, VA, Ralph Hennen of New York City and Chuck (Debby) Kirby of Zanesville; aunt Naomi Kirby of Zanesville.
Melanie was preceded in death by her father, Ron; grandparents, Carl and Elizabeth Hennen, Paul Kirby, Elsie Kirby Bell; uncle Paul Lawrence Kirby.
Visitation will be held 2-4pm & 6-8pm Thursday February 7, 2008 in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in Zanesville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to New Moorefield United Methodist Church 5065 Mechanicsburg Rd.
