Mildred Hatcher


Mildred (Webb) Hatcher, 87, of Springfield, died Tuesday March 18, 2008 in Spring Meadows Care Center.

She was born June 22, 1920 in Hardy, Kentucky, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Gooslin) Webb.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Glenda Hatcher of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Don and Marcia Hatcher of Urbana; two grandchildren, Robbie (Charisma) Graham of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Timothy (Emily) Hatcher of San Jose, California; three great-grandchildren, Michealia and Arianna Graham and Evangeline Hatcher; step-son, Kenneth Ray (Bessie) Childers; eight nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years Robert E. Hatcher; daughter, Anna Lou; two sisters Marzella Varney and Gracie Vermillion; three brothers, Harold, Bobby Gene and Allen Webb.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday March 21, 2008, with Pastor Robert Martin, officiating.

Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
