Mildred Jane Haddix


Mildred Jane Haddix, 96, of Springfield, died Thursday evening, January 17, 2008 in Forest Glen Health Care Campus.

She was born in Champaign County on June 23, 1911 the daughter of the late Charles and Etna Belle (Hall) Chambers.

Mildred was a member of New Moorefield United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her three children and spouses, Robert and Dale Haddix of Lakeview, Ruth and Terry Wildermuth of Springfield, and Phyllis LeFever of Springfield; and fifteen grandchildren, Robert (Terri) Haddix Jr., Bill Haddix, Sue Sandor, Tamara (Robert) Tremant, Mark (Marylyn) Coy, Jeff Haddix, Mike Coy, Daniel Haddix, Tisha (Dan) Belville, Kenny Haddix, Teryl (John) Wilson, Mark (Tina) Wildermuth, Marcia (Jim) Farquer, Sheri (Mark) Eveland, and Lisa (Aaron) Masser. Also surviving are twenty five great grandchildren, Robert Haddix III, Lee Haddix, John Haddix, Chris Haddix, Casey Brown, Jason Meyers, Casandra Tremant, Caz, Jad and Levi Coy, Daniel, Nathaniel and Xander Haddix, Shawna (David) Spicher, Caleb Belville, Matt and Kyle Wilson, Whitney, Luke and Haley Wildermuth, Clayton and Kylie Farquer, and Olivia, Madelyn and Abram Masser; five great-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Irvin Haddix of Piqua; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Haddix in 1999; two brothers, Forrest and Raymond Chambers; and a son-in-law Ralph M. LeFever.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:30-12:30 p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Don Trumbull officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Asbury Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to New Moorefield United Methodist Church, 5065 Mechanicsburg Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45503.
