Helen Holder
Helen Holder, 79, passed away at 3:05 a.m., Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Pathways Alzheimer Unit of the Springfield Masonic Community. She was born June 22, 1929.
Formerly of Medway, Ohio, Helen had lived in Dade City, Florida for almost 30 years before returning to Ohio in February 2008 due to illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Holder; her mother Edith Sims Kiefer; her stepfather Dale Kiefer and her sister Florence DeWeese.
Helen is survived by her son and his wife, Dr. Dale and Cheryl (Heaton) Holder of Springfield; one grandson and his wife, Trevor and Jennifer (Hoppe) Holder currently stationed at Miami University in Oxford, OH, with The Navigators Ministries; great-grandson and great- granddaughter, Patrick Jackson Holder and Anna Joy Holder. Additional survivors include nephew, Glenn DeWeese; niece, Judy (DeWeese) Munyon; and brother-in-law, Vaughn DeWeese all of Indiana. Helen is also survived by two special friends, Lethicica Roberts and Sara Hooks, of Dade City, Florida.
Graveside services will be on Friday, March 20th at the Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, Florida.
