Harold Lloyd Hamilton

Harold Lloyd Hamilton was the last child of five born to the union of Ira and Gladys Hamilton. He was the baby of the family and was born in McDowell, Kentucky on September 24, 1937.

Harold graduated from Tecumseh High School in New Carlisle, Ohio in 1956. He completed a three year apprenticeship in tool and die making, after which becoming a highly in demand skilled laborer. He worked for several different tool shops before finally settling in to working for Chrysler Corporation. He was valued as one of Chrysler's most competent and reliable employees, retiring in 1992. Harold met and married the love of his life Peggy Ann Muncie on June 27, 1959.

Harold and Peggy welcomed their first child Lisa Ann (wife of Frank Markowski) on August 21, 1960, of whom Harold was extremely proud of and fiercely protective over. On January 6, 1962, Harold and Peggy were blessed with a son Harold Kelly (husband of Amber Hamilton), whom they affectionately nicknamed "Bub". Harold and Bub formed a deep bond and shared the years of his life as best friends. Nothing was more important to Harold than his family and he was never happier than with the birth of his six grandchildren: Erica Hamilton, Kyle Markowski, Eden Hamilton, Bryan Markowski, Tyler Markowski, and Troy Markowski.

Some of Harold's most cherished moments were spent vacationing at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky with his beloved siblings Mazel Stumbo (wife of Collis Stumbo), Birchel Hamilton (husband of Lena Hamilton), and Maxie "Toogie" McMillen (wife of Charles McMillen). Harold's dedication and devotion to his loved ones was completely reciprocated by all the members of his family as they lovingly cared for him in his times of need.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ira and Gladys Hamilton and his brother Burnis Hamilton.

He is survived by his immediate family, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Harold will be fondly remembered for his love of blue grass music, his strength of character, his survivor's spirit and will never, never be forgotten.
