Gary E. Harvey
Gary E. Harvey, 66, of Miamisburg passed away Sunday evening, February 10, 2008 in the Wood Glen Nursing Center.
He was born January 18, 1942 in Champaign County, the son of Gilbert and Irene (Rhorer) Harvey.
Gary retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was a member of ACE and Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville. Gary enjoyed trains, roller coasters and will always be remembered as a very caring and devoted husband, father and grandpa and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judy A. Harvey of Miamisburg, Ohio; two daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jason Tharp and Amanda Harvey all of Miamisburg, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Nancy Harvey of Springboro, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and David Morgan of Beavercreek, Ohio; one granddaughter, Peighton Tharp and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 1-2 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
