Frances Jean Hines


Frances Jean Hines, age 86 passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Springfield Regional Hospital High St. Campus.

She was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Hilda (Dillon) Augustus, April 6, 1922. Frances was a member of the Hillside Avenue Church of God, Lisbon Sunshine Band, and the Modonna of the Trail Chapter Grandmothers Club.

Frances enjoyed participating with the Quilting Group of volunteers at the Mercy Medical Center. She was an avid bowler and card player.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, of 58 years, Roger Hines, brother Frank Augustus, sister Helen Childs, grandson John Lemen Jr.

Frances is survived by her children; Richard (Jane) Hines, of South Charleston, Anita (Hank) Rimmer of Jacksonville, FL., Sherry (Marc) Bilodeau of Roswell, GA., Sandy (Steve) Pedigo of Vail, AZ., grandchildren; Rita Ann Haberlandt, Donna Jean Schafer, Joseph Hines, James Robert Reardean, Michael Scott Reardean, Tamara Louise Dickey, Jason Maxwell Lemen, Carrie Lynn Pedigo, Walter Stephen Pedigo Jr., 16 great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Visitation Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 2-5pm at the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME 2425 N. Limestone; where funeral service will be held 11am Monday, October 6, 2008 with Rev. Brent Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in Frances' memory to the American heart Association or charity of choice. Family to receive friends one hour prior to the service.
