Cathie Ann Hurst


Cathie Ann Hurst, 55, of South Vienna, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2007 in the residence of her daughter. She was born on January 28, 1952 in Springfield the daughter of Eugene and Nancy Ann (Moore) Shook. She was a member of the United Church of South Vienna.

Cathie is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Gary Hurst of South Vienna, two daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle and John David Hickman of Urbana, and Kristen Hurst and her fiancé Eric Wick of Urbana; one brother, Michael E. Shook of South Vienna, and two granddaughters, Megan Elizabeth and Katlyn Hickman of Urbana. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007 from 5-8 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where the service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am with Pastor Scott Griswold officiating. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana.
