Charles E. Henry


Charles E. Henry, 74, of Springfield departed this life on March Monday, March 30, 2009 in Mercy St. John Center. He was born August 27, 1934 in Springfield, Ohio a son of Elmer J. and Mary Elizabeth (Walker) Henry.

Mr. Henry served his country in the United States Navy and was employed by the Ponderosa Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory four brothers, Ross Henry, Kenneth Henry, Larry Tutt and Terrence Milsap; five sisters, Virginia West, Betty Bean, Eleanor Cobb, Kathleen Durr and Patricia Herrington and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Henry and Ronald Henry; two sisters, Janet Givens and Faith Jones.

Visitation for Mr. Henry will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m..
