Blance E. Hardin


Blance E. Hardin, 81 of Springfield, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 1, 2008 in the IOOF Care Center. She was born April 11, 1927 in Kings County, Virginia a daughter of William and Burnette (Gail) Johnson.

Mrs. Hardin was a member of the Fair Street Christian Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory special friends, Leon and Margaret Echols, Phyllis Johnson, her church family, the staff and residents at IOOF Care Center and a number of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Hardin.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, September 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Community Room at IOOF with Pastor John H. Pollock, officiating. There will be a time of reflection with family and friends after the Celebration Service.

Arrangements are by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
