Michael R. Gray
Michael R. Gray, 47 of Springfield, received his wings on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center - East High St. Campus.
He was born on September 27, 1961 in Springfield, the son of Elmer R. and Katherine (Bowman) Gray. He retired from Community Hospital after over ten years of service.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica and Tiffany Gray of Springfield; Papaw's boy, Mason, four brothers and sisters-in-law: Terry and Linda Bowman of California; Billy and Cathy bowman of Springfield; Greg and Cindy Bowman of Cleveland; and Stephen and Ginger Bowman of Springfield; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Nancy Frank of Springfield; Paula and Don Harrington of London; Wendy and Jon Mahar of Springfield; Stacy and Rocky Jernigan of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends: Dale Frazier, Brian Jordan, and Joe Malone; special girlfriend, Phyllis Cavallaro Warren of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jeffery R. Strait.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008, from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, where services will be held on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
