Rolland J. Flory
Rolland J. Flory, Jr., 90, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday September 12, 2008. He was born May 20, 1918 in Seattle, Washington the son of the late Rolland, Sr. & Golda (Crider) Flory.
He was a medic in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a retired school teacher and spent most of his career at Stivers High School, Dayton, Ohio.
He was is survived by three sons, Phillip Flory of Springfield, Rolland Michael Flory of Moore, Idaho, William Flory of Corona, California; a daughter, Laurie Flory-Rexford of Bradenton, Florida; his childrens mother, Christine Hargraves of Florida; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; twin brothers, Laurrell Flory of North Hampton, Ohio, Merrill Flory of Enon, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shiela Flory; a sister, Ruth Engle; a brother, Hurbert Flory.
A memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 28, 2008 at the Donnelscreek Church of the Brethren.
