Reva L. Ferryman


Reva L. Ferryman, age 86 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her home. She was born September 30, 1922 in Waverly, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elza & Gladys (Kult) Saum.

Mrs. Ferryman was a member of the St. Lukes Lutheran Church and Fidelia Rebekah.

Preceded in death by her husband Carl Ferryman, 2 brothers Jack & Jim Saum, and by 3 sisters Dorothy Saum, Wanita & Carol Lloyd.

She is survived by her son Carl "Bud" Ferryman II and wife Pat of Springfield, daughter Dorothy K. Hart of Springfield, 4 grandchildren Bryan Ferryman and wife Joy Lynn, Shawn Ferryman, Special Caregiver Andy Hart and wife Barbie, and Heather Hart, great grandchildren Victoria & Anna Ferryman, Luke Samuel, Lance Ferryman, Samantha Elliot, Katie, Madison and Blake Hart, Kylie Jackson and Konner Hart her ray of sunshine, family friend and former son-in-law John D. "Jack" Hart, and several nieces and nephews including special niece Debbie Bennett.

A private service will be held. Burial Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Elizabeth Ferguson, Katie and Betty at Hospice for the special care they gave to Reva.
