Opal Fox


Opal Fox, 82, of New Carlisle, passed away Tuesday January 27, 2009. She was born July 31, 1926 in Estill County, KY the daughter of the late Virgil & Hettie (Young) Hardy.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy & Frank Sweeney of New Carlisle; a son, Bill Fox; three grandchildren, Tammy Beckett, Sheryl Harshaw & Heather Lathrop; eight great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard & Frank; a sister, Beulah Jamison; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Fox; a son, Larry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 31, 2009 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Burdsall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior in the funeral home.
