Nora Fugate

Nora (Miller) Fugate, 83, a resident of Mercy St. John's Center, passed away at 7:09 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2008.

She was born June 4, 1924 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Joe and Poppie (Whitaker) Miller.

Survivors include three children; Wilma ( Dallas) Mattox, Homosassa, Florida, Dianna Fugate (Larry Godsey), Springfield, and Omega (Steven) Chamberlain, Citrus Springs, Florida, 13 grandchildren including a very devoted grand daughter Jennifer Schafer, 22 great grand children, 6 great great grandchildren, two sisters Deloris Combs, Hazard, Kentucky and Sallie Miller, Irvine, Kentucky, one step daughter, two step sons and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arlen Fugate in 1987, a daughter Wanda Fay Feltner, a son Billy Ray Feltner and her parents.

Funeral services and burial will be held in Hazard, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
