Ailene Richards Earley

Ailene Richards Earley, 89 of Springfield died Saturday, November 17, 2007 in Dayspring Care Center.

She was born in Nowata, Oklahoma on June 15, 1918, the daughter of Thomas William and Leona (Wilker) Smith.

Ailene was a member of Northside Church of God and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father J.L. Carver; first husband Edward W. Richards; second husband Marvin Earley; and brother William Smith.

Her survivors include two daughters Delores Wilma Jean Pendergraft of Enon and Shirley Lou Richards of Grove City; two sons Lewis William (Buck) and Nadeen Richards and Wesley E. and Ilva Richards both of Springfield; nine grandchildren Cheryl J. Pendergraft, Edward (Mary) Pendergraft, William D. Anderson, Douglas L.(Sue) Anderson, Robin L. (Tim) Clay, Robert L. Richards, Andrew A. (Dana) Richards, Michael E. Richards, and Bethaney (Jim) Wicks; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be Wednesday at Noon in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor Steve Williams officiating.
