William Edgar "Bill" Dehart
William Edgar "Bill" Dehart, 79, of Springfield, died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1928 in Elliott County, Kentucky the son of Melvin and Hazel (Bennion) Dehart. He was the owner and operator of B & S Battery for a number of years and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include three children and spouses, Joyce (Kurt) Bubp of Springfield, Teresa (Chris) Dement of McArthur, Ohio and Jerry Wood of Florida; nine sisters and brothers and spouses, Monie Collins, Jewel (Melvin) Walker, Essie Orpurt, Mary (Bill) Music, Gay (Tony) Yohman, Fern Flannery, Ernie Dehart, Paul Dehart and Thomas (Gracie) Dehart; seven grandchildren, Andy, Kelly and Kara Bubp, Kevin Wright, Jessica Pritchett, Tyler and Dakota Dement; many nieces and nephews and former wife, Sandy Dehart. His daughter, Janet Endicott and his sister, Marie James, preceded him in death.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Bill was a kind and generous man who will be missed dearly by his family. Arrangements handled by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
