Rita L. Dangerfield


Rita L. (Adkins) Dangerfield, 56, formerly of N. Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully at home, with her sisters by her side after a courageous battle with leukemia on Monday, September 22, 2008.

She was born on December 26, 1951, in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of James W. and Luedell Adkins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Heather N. Asmus.

She is survived by her son, Joseph C. Branam; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda G. Wheatley, Bronicha (Rick) Whitmore, Kathie A. (Roger) Lee, and Marlena (Erick) Wilson; grandchildren, Mason Branam, Madison Asmus, and Mikel Asmus; special friends, Bob and Pat Savant and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rita was passionate about her job where she was a Supervisor for the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration and was very close with all her co-workers. She also loved gardening and spending time with her family, friends and pets.

A private service for family will be held on October 4, 2008 at Rose Hill Burial Park at 11:00 AM. Flowers may be sent to JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME. /p>
