Nancy Jane Dillahunt


Nancy Jane Dillahunt, 77, of Springfield died Thursday, February 7, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center High Street Campus.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 7, 1931, the daughter of William P. and Garnet A. (Alder) Brooks.

Nancy had a booth at the Clark County Fairgrounds Flea Market for over 35 years and enjoyed attending auctions. Her real enjoyment at Christmas time was being Mrs. Santa Claus at the flea market with her husband William, playing Santa Claus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William Dillahunt.

Her survivors include two daughters Mary Lou & William Leedale of Tucson, AZ and Margaret Ann & Steve Bussard of Springfield; one son Dennis Dillahunt and companion Sean Crist of Boston, MA; two sisters Mary Middleton of Denver, CO and Carolyn Koger of Littleton, CO; five grandchildren Cindy & Brian Taylor, Missy Leedale, Matthew Leedale, Derek Dillahunt, and Nicholas Bussard; five great-grandchildren Isaiah, Chris, Alyssa, Dante', and Joey; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Sunday from 4-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, where services will be Monday at 11:00AM with Pastor Brian Dillahunt officiating. Burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association with envelopes being available at the memorial home.
