Norma T. Dennis
Norma T.Dennis, 95, of Springfield, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 in Villa Springfield after a brief illness.
She was born October 3, 1912 in Springfield, OH to Patrick and Frances (Hoefner) Dennis. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Norma was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia # 207 and Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie 397 Women's Auxiliary and their Past Presidents Club.
Survivors include five daughters and spouses, Carol and Bill Hall, Urbana, OH, Kathy and Jim Lyons, Knoxville, TN, Sara and Bill Quinn, Sun City, AZ, Janet and Chuck Fazio and Lynne Dennis, Springfield; a son and spouse, Steve and Kim Dennis, Cary, NC; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Audry, a brother and sister in law, George "Bud" and Elizabeth Carroll and many relatives and friends.
There will be a private viewing at Conroy Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Teresa Church with burial to follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or your favorite charity.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Richard Darr and the staff at Villa Springfield for the loving care of our mother.
