Mary W. Dibert


Mary W. Dibert, 84, of Medway, Ohio passed away Friday November 30, 2007.

She was born March 24, 1923 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Clarence & Flo Sherick.

Mary graduated from Westville High School. She retired from Security National Bank in 1986 after serving as head of the bookkeeper for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and served as Sunday school teacher for years. She always enjoyed playing the piano, singing and dancing; especially in her retirement years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles; a son, Gary Lee Dibert and a daughter, Kimberly Jo Shafer both of Springfield; three granddaughters, Lori, Heather and Sara; four sisters, Neva Koons, Wilma Wiles both of New Carlisle, Ruth Morefield and Patti Johnson both of Sun City Center, Florida; three brothers, Woody Sherick of North Hampton, Ohio, Duane Sherick of Fountain Hills, Arizona and Jerry Sherick of Ocala, Florida; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Sherick in January 2006.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday December 3, 2007 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Terra Haute Cemetery.
