Geralene "Geri" Davis


Geralene "Geri" Davis, 82, of Springfield, left this world to be with her family in heaven on February 22, 2008 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

She was born on November 13, 1925 to Robert Mann and Bitha (Rosenbaum) Green.

She worked many years as a beautician, serving and loving so many. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

Geri is survived by numerous brothers and sisters and four children, Donna Kingery, Sue Ann Alexander, Edna (Phillip) Metz, and Kim (Jody) Chamberlin. Also surviving are her grandchildren and their families, Thomas and Tami Jones and their children, Ashley, Ashton and Andrew, Korena Fulop and her children, Dillon, Jon Michael and James, Kristina Kingery (Jim Workman) and son, Dustin, Laura (Matthew) Metz and their children, Justin (Hansford) Randall, Jennifer, Amber and Marina Metz, Aaron (Christina) Metz and son, Kaden, Clayton (Christina) Musick II and their children, Whitney (Shaw) Clayton III and Heaven Lee Musick, Rock Musick and friend, Melissa Lightle, Billy (Christina Bond) Owen and their children, Brianna and Justice.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas William; and a son, Forest Lee Davis.

The family would like to thank all the friends Mom made at the Masonic Home for the excellent care which they provided her and to Dayton Heartland Hospice for all of the love and support given to Geri and the family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A private burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
