Gidget L. Patton Daugherty


Gidget L. Patton Daugherty, 40, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2008 in OSU Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 9, 1967, the daughter of Sarah "Pinkie" and Eddie Patton.

Gidget worked for Assurant Group in the customer service department.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She has left to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 16 years Terry Daugherty; two very special children, who meant the world to her Kyle and Ashley Daugherty; her parents of Springfield; siblings, Christopher Patton and his fiancé Jennifer Sanderson, and their daughter Darby Rose Patton, Shari & Mark Williams and Charles & Emily Daugherty, Jr.; special loved ones Tommy "TJ" Conley, Stephanie & Bob Walker; great nieces and nephew Mandy, Ryan, Robbie, and Hannah; mother in law and father in law Charles & Lois Daugherty, Sr.; special friend Jane Daugherty; special aunt Joyce Deyo; several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; her pets Lucky, Red, and Lilly.

Services will be Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Elder Charlie Skaggs officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

She will be forever in our hearts and minds. She was loved by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Education Credit Union for the future education of her children.
