Edna M. Duckwall


Edna M. Duckwall, 83, of Springfield died at 11:25 p.m. February 18, 2009 in Forest Glen. She was born in Springfield on January 13, 1926 the daughter of Grover C. and Carrie A. Vance.

She was a member of St. Teresa Church.

Survivors include five children and spouses, Rose Ann and Joe Winkle, Sandra Duckwall, Sharon Duckwall, Kathleen and Paul Cook, Paul and Sherry Duckwall; sister, Theresa Peterson, all of Springfield; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl in 1998, son Edwin, four brothers, Carl, George, Paul and Edward Vance, two sisters, Rita Rader and Mary Kinzer.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
