Elizabeth M. Dillahunt


Elizabeth M. "Betty" Dillahunt, 74, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008, in the Oakwood Village. She was born on October 3, 1934, in Springfield the daughter of Joseph and Polly (Schillhahn) Hansell.

Betty graduated from Springfield High Class of 1952 and was employed by Assurant, previously the Kissell Company, for over twenty years.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: David M. and Lisa Dillahunt of Hilliard; and Jay D. and Tomoko Dillahunt of Columbus; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy Dillahunt and Dean Harrington of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Kyle and Nina, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Joe, Jim, Nick, and Franz.

A gathering of family and friends celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakwood Village Mission Fund, 1500 Villa Rd., Springfield, OH 45503.
