Clara R. Dolin


Clara R. Dolin, 89, of Springfield died January 19, 2009 in her residence. She was born in Fayette County, West Virginia on July 21, 1919, the daughter of Henry Clay and Dolly (Perry) Jenkins.

Clara was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Luther E. Dolin; brothers Lawrence, Carl and William Jenkins; sisters Holly Gray, Ethel Bridges, and Cleetus Conley.

Her survivors include a step daughter in law Ruth Dolin; step grandchildren David Dolin, Diana Davies, and Robin Dolin; several nieces and nephews including Wanda Philpott.

Services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park, where visitation will begin at 1:30 PM with Pastor R.C. McDonald officiating.

Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
