Barbara Ann Dalton


Barbara Ann (Packer) Dalton, 81, of Springfield, died at 7:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2008, in Heartland of Springfield. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on July 7, 1927, the daughter of Joe and Irma (Losh) Packer.

She moved to Springfield as an infant and lived here all her life.

She is survived by her husband, Shelby; daughter, Amy Bratton; sister, Joan McDaniel of Donnelsville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Carolyn Packer of Lynchburg, Tennessee and several nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary L. Brown.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Conroy Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Thompson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
