Robert Edward Craycraft


Robert (Bob) Edward Craycraft, 79, passed on to be with the Lord, March 8, 2008 in Community Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

The son of Howard and Gertrude (Dennin) Craycraft, Mr. Craycraft was born in Scioto County on April 26, 1928.

Bob was the proud father of six children, David (Catherine) , Nickie, Jeffery (Kay), Darrell (Michelle) and Torita Grimm all of Springfield, 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Bob is also survived by friend and mother of his children, Mary Ellen Phillips.

He was preceded in death by a son Bruce D. Craycraft.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp during WW II and also retired from International Harvester after 32 years of dedicated service.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 PM until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
