Ruby Mae Caulfield


Ruby Mae Caulfield, 91, of Springfield, died at 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. She was born March 19, 1917 in Putnam County, Ohio to Francis and Belle (Buchanan) Johnson.

She retired from R & M in 1977 after 35 years of service. She was a member of the V.F.W. #1037 Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles #397, R & M Social Club and the Elderly United.

She is survived by a grandson and spouse, David & Sandra Jenkins, Urbana and a niece, Martha Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1991, her sister Laura Frantz and her brother, James F. Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
