Minnie E. (Baker) Chappell


Minnie E. (Baker) Chappell, 91, of Springfield, passed away at 11:20 PM Sunday, November 25, 2007 in her residence.

She was born October 6, 1916 the daughter of George E and Martha A. (Emery) Berry. Minnie had been employed at Wobbe Cleaners.

Survivors include four children; Charles L. (Betsy) Baker, San Diego, California, John E. Baker, Springfield, Clifford T. Baker, New Carlisle, Edith V. Harris, Springfield, 18 grand children, 27 great grand children, 3 great great grand children, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Roland L. Baker Sr. and Kenneth E. Chappell, children; Roland L. Baker Jr., Martha Ann (Baker) Hullinger, Susie Baker, grand children Renee Hullinger and Debra Baker and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.
