Chaplin Kathy Ann Clos


Chaplain Kathy Ann Clos, 50, of Urbana, went home to meet the Lord Friday evening January 18, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born August 31, 1957 in Urbana the daughter of Moses Woodard and Edna Kathleen (Stanley) Draper II.

Chaplain Clos was a devoted member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle where she and her husband Pastor Rick Clos ministered to their congregation. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the church, was a Community Mercy Hospice Volunteer and was an on call Chaplain for Community Hospital.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years Pastor Rick Clos, two daughters and sons in law; Rebecca and Brian Holloway, London, Ohio and Angela and Christopher Mason, Springfield, four grand children; Joshua, Taylor, Ericca and Christian (CJ), two brothers Woodard (Vietta) Draper, Columbus, Ohio, Ed (Sherill) Draper. St. Paris, two sisters Mary (Dick) Paff, Weberville, Michigan, Tina ( Junior) Russell, Galliopolis, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and the congregation at Lighthouse Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Julia Fuller.

Visitation will be held beginning at 2:00 PM Wednesday until 9:00 PM in the Lighthouse Tabernacle, 5202 Valley Pike. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the church with Pastor Glen Hagerman of O'Brien, Florida officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Tabernacle.

Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
