Doris E. Clericus


Doris E. "Dottie" Clericus, 86, of Bellefontaine, formerly of Springfield, died at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born December 17, 1921 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph L. and Mollie (Massie) Woodruff.

She had worked at All Phase Electric for over 20 years, retiring in 1985, and was a long time volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star #258.

Dottie is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Marilyn (Bill) Vasel, Camp Hill, PA and Margaret (Mark) Schramm, Indian Lake; one step-daughter, Barbara (Dick) Evans, Dayton; one grandson, Charles (Sarah) Vasel; one step-grandson, Michael Evans; two nieces, Patricia (Roy) Kohl and Barbara Wheatley.

A memorial service will be held a 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 in the Conroy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League, 6330 Willow Dale Road, Springfield, OH 45502.
