Ruth A. Bowman
Ruth A. (Freeland, Beatty) Bowman 88, of Germantown, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007.
She was a recent resident of Waterford Retirement Center in Dayton. Ruth was born October 18, 1918 in Dayton the daughter of Tiffen & Josie Freeland.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Rex M. Beatty and Arthur Bowman; a grandson, John D. Patton; great grandson John E. Patton brothers, Clarence M., Oscar (Raye) and Robert Freeland; sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Mary Cullers, and Betty Shepperd. Ruth was a member of the First Church of God, Germantown.
She is survived by sons, Danny (Janie) Beatty of South Carolina, Alan Beatty of Huber Heights; and daughter, Shirley (Dick) Seaman of New Carlisle; grandchildren, Sally (Bob) Swearingen, Donna (Roger) Diller, Carla (Mike) Harrison, Kris (Mike) Zimmerman; Jerry (Kim) Patton, Danny, Jr. (Brenda) Beatty, Dustin Beatty, twenty five great grandchildren; nineteen great-great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Lawson, Nellie Waugh, Alice Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 11 a.m. October 15 , 2007 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Arnold McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park.
