Ruth V. Bauser
Ruth V. "Honey" Bauser, 76, of Springfield passed away Saturday evening, June 21, 2008 in her residence with her beloved family by her side.
She was born August 19, 1931 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of Victor and Bertha (Jones) Seymour.
Honey lived a very simple life where her family and faith were the focus of her life. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clarence J. Bauser; one son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Karen Bauser of Urbana; one sister, Janet Beverly of Springfield; one sister-in-law, Joanne Shortridge of Michigan; four grandchildren, Mark Bauser of Portland, Oregon, Shannon Thornsberry of Springfield, Matthew Bauser of Urbana and Elyse Bauser-Wilburn of Springfield; four great-grandchildren, Allie, Casey, Hanna and Addison; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Bauser; sister, Gloria Cunningham and brother, Ralph Seymour.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Mausoleum.
